يهدف هذا البرنامج إلى تزويد المشاركين بالمعارف والمهارات الضرورية والمعلومات المتطورة فى مجال السلامة وطرق حماية العاملين بالمنشآت البترولية ، وكيفية السيطرة على الحوادث بتحليلها واستخلاص طرق الوقاية منها والحد من تفاقمها. كما يعالج البرنامج أيضا أساليب منع الحرائق ومكافحتها والسيطرة عليها .
يخرج المشاركون فى البرنامج ولديهم فهم كامل لمقتضيات السلامة فى مواقع العمل بالمنشآت البترولية ، مما يجعلهم قادرين على القيام بالمهام التالية :
السادة شاغلى المناصب الإشرافية ، ومديرى الإدارات ، ورؤساء الأقسام بالمنشآت البترولية ، من كان منهم مسئولا عن السلامة بصفة أساسية ، أو كان ذلك العمل يمثل جزءا من اختصاصاته.
