بينما يتصدى رجال السلامة ومنع الخسائر لكافة أنواع الأخطار الحالية والمحتملة، والتي قد تتعرض لها المنشأة – يجب تدريب جميع العاملين بباقي الإدارات على إتباع السلوك الأمثل لمواجهة الأخطار وتفادى أكبر قدر من الخسائر البشرية والمادية، بمفهوم أن السلامة مسئولية كل فرد؛ وعلى الجميع أن يتكاتفوا لحصر الحادث في أضيق نطاق ممكن، والحد من انتشاره بما لديهم من إمكانات في مواقع العمل المتنوعة، على أن يتم التدريب على ذلك بصورة عملية في جو من الجدية والالتزام بلا ترتيب مسبق .
